Kindly remind your students about the significance of properly borrowing and returning a laptop.
The lockers are self service.
To borrow a laptop, all you will need is your student card. The central console has a touch screen.
To borrow a laptop from the Lapsafe lockers, follow these steps:
1. Scan your student card on the screen.
2. Agree to the terms and conditions.
3. Press "borrow".
4. Choose your laptop. Open the bay, unplug and remove the laptop.
5. Close the bay door. You should hear a click if the door is shut correctly.
6. Complete the instructions on the LapSafe locker.
You need to return the laptop to the same bank of lockers you borrowed it from. The light will slowly flash to show it is charging (this is important as the return will not be completed unless the laptop is connected to the power supply)
The laptop needs to be plugged into the power supply in the bay to be accepted as a return.
