Misinformation

AI can generate or amplify misinformation, where the information it creates sounds credible, but it is actually misleading or false. This means that we have to critically evaluate AI generated content to confirm if it is accurate. We can do this by reading around the topic, check any references created by AI (these may have been invented by AI and don’t actually exist), and remember you can seek support from the library team.
