About Learning on Screen

Learning on Screen (formerly BUFVC) promote the use of moving image and sound in education and research. Delivering access to online academic databases, on demand video resources, training, information and advice. Just a few features include:

How to log in

Click Login in the top-right corner of the screen, then type "The Manchester College". 

Sign into your organizational account with your student/staff email address and network password.

Searching the collections

Type your keywords into the search bar. This searches all of the Learning on Screen databases at once.

Use the options on the right-hand side of your search results to filter by collection, genre, availability or media type.

It is regularly updated and currently holds over 8,500 records dating from the 1890s to the present day.
