Emerald Insight: User Guide

Emerald Insight manages a portfolio of nearly 300 journals, more than 2,500 books and over 1,500 teaching cases. It includes journals and books relevant to a range of subject areas, with a strong focus on accounting and finance, management, marketing, education, information studies and engineering.

1. To gain full access to Emerald Insight click on Log in in the top right of the website

2. On the next page underneath Log in choose Shibboleth

3. Select your Geographic Region as UK Higher Education

4. Scroll down to The Manchester College

5. If you are asked to sign into your organizational account use your student/staff email address and network password

You can browse content by subject area or you can enter keywords into the search bar. You can limit your results to show only what you have full access to. You can also create a personal profile that enables you to set up new content alerts, save searches and create lists.
